OUR COMMITMENT  

NRW is committed to family friendly entertainment product at all of our live events.  We have families of our own and we understand how important it is for parents to know what they're taking their children to see. We practice the art of Professional Wrestling and do not glorify dangerous acts of violence with blood and gore.  We encourage parents to contact us for questions about our events.  We also want children to know the difference between scripted-entertainment and real life. We urge parents to encourage their children to watch our event but under no circumstance should they attempt to emulated or attempt what we do in real life.  Our Stars are highly trained to do what happens in the ring at our own training school, the Mercury Pro Wrestling Academy.

WHAT IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT MEAN?

1. There is no foul language or obscene gestures. This includes the performers and the fans as well as theme song lyrics!
2. There is no intentional blood-letting in matches!
3. There is no “over-the top” or extreme graphic violence in matches!
4. There is no portrayed man on woman violence (to include striking, punching, kicking)!
5. All performers are Sober and Drug-Free.

What is NRW'S stance on “backyard wrestling”?

NRW is adamantly opposed to any form of “backyard wrestling”, regardless of how it is advertised.  Our events are conducted in a safe environment and executed by highly trained athletic professionals. Any attempt by our fans to emulate our Stars is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. 

Parents should let their loved ones know that practicing “backyard wrestling” is not a path to NRW. We encourage a  “Do Not Try This” stance.
